We spent the day hanging out with Kale and Amanda who were helping us get closer to finishing the bathroom. Tile is up, walls are painted! All that is left is to put in the grout and then trim the room in molding and baseboards. The only caveat to that is that the small tiles that line the floor of the shower are still not in at Lowe's, so that can't get finished until later in the week, but still it is very close! And considering that I started with the shower on the opposite end of the room, walls made of an inch and a half of concrete, tile and lathe boards, under house plumbing which has all been replaced, and a 4' x 5' double paned window in the den that was also replaced along with the bottom of the exterior wall of siding. Whew! All that in only 3 weeks, awesome!
Also Awesome - Sam is less than 2 days away! He looked great on the ultrasound yesterday and he performed the NST in only 25 minutes (usually takes an hour or so). He's ready to be here and we are certainly ready for him. Hope everyone is having a good weekend.
